trick shots:A group of friends from Texas have taken trick shots to a whole new level in a new viral video.
From hanging their keys on the hook, to lighting a BBQ or passing a coaster to a friend, these guys have got trick shots down to an art.
The five-minute clip has already amassed more than 14 million views in just two days since it was posted to Dude Perfect’s YouTube channel.
It shows five talented friends Coby and Cory Cotton, Garrett Hilbert, Cody Jones and Tyler Toney, who are all former high school basketball players and Texas A&M college roommates. Inexplicably, a guy in a panda suit also features.
The next moment, the roll lands perfectly on its holder in the impressive trick shot
Cameras follow they around as they land incredible trick shots to speed up their regular chores.
In one shot, Tyler Toney puts away his shopping trolley with a single push. He walks confidently towards the camera without checking to see if it has landed in the trolley bay.It has.
In another, a guy standing on the mezzanine floor throws down a set of keys of his roommate who is walking out the front door. They land perfectly in his rucksack.
Other seemingly effortless tricks include throwing waffles in the toaster, while still seated at the dining table, flipping three teaspoons into three mugs in one flick of a wrist and flinging a roll of kitchen paper towels onto the holder.
Dude Perfect began as just a group of friends playing around and competing who could make the next shot.
‘If I make this shot, you owe me lunch’ …Swish A free sandwich, a simple camera, and 20 ‘I can do better than you’ shots later, Dude Perfect was born,’ they say on their website.
‘Obviously when that first ball swished, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into, but we believe that nothing happens by accident, that God’s given us this platform for a reason, and that we have an opportunity to make an impact on the lives of countless others all around the globe.’
Since then the Christian sports entertainment group has grown exponentially and now have more than 18 million subscribers on YouTube.
